Students planning to leave their seat in Round 1 and participate in Round 2 of MCC counselling need to complete the seat resignation process before the last date, September 2, 2026, up to 1:00 P.M., to avoid forfeiture of the security deposit.
The resignation window is live now. Candidates who opted for the Freeze option need to resign their seats by visiting the college physically. Meanwhile, students who selected the Float option can complete their seat withdrawal process through the MCC official portal.

Float Candidates
- First of all, visit the official MCC portal.
- Enter your login details and click on the Sign In option.
- After logging into the portal, a message will appear on the screen.
- Close the message and click on the Withdraw from Counselling option available at the left side of the window.
- Now, upload a file containing your name, roll number, the statement “I hereby inform,” and your signature.
- Then, click on the Choose File option and enter your password.
- Enter the OTP and click on the Proceed option.
- After that, click on Download Withdrawal Letter for future reference.
Freeze Candidates
Candidates who have joined the medical college and completed the entire admission process need to visit the particular medical college physically along with the necessary documents. After that, individuals need to obtain the seat withdrawal slip generated by the Nodal Officer from the MCC portal. After submitting the documents successfully, you are out of Round 1 counselling and eligible for Round 2 counselling, and your security amount will be refunded to you.
