JEE aspirants preparing for the Mains 2027 examinations should be aware of the latest exam pattern. NTA <\/a>has already shared the JEE Main exam date<\/a> and is all set to start the JEE Main 2027 registrations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The JEE Main 2027 Exam Pattern is set by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and NTA itself conducts JEE Main examinations in online mode. The exam is conducted for admission to engineering courses, which is B.E.\/B. Tech, and for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses. Paper 1 is of 300 marks, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics carrying 100 marks each. JEE Main Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning) is of 400 marks. JEE Main exam is conducted in 3 hours (Paper 1) and 3 hours and 30 minutes (Paper 2); additionally, 60 minutes are given to PwD candidates. A well-structured format of a question paper is known as the exam pattern<\/a> of any examination. An exam pattern helps the students to understand the number of questions  and type of questions, total marks, exam duration, marking scheme, exam mode, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we talk about the JEE Mains exam pattern, the exam is conducted in two papers, Paper 1 (B.E. \/ B.Tech.) and Paper 2 (B. Arch & B. Planning). The exam pattern for both question papers is slightly different from each other. However, candidates have the option to participate in both JEE Main exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paper 1 (B.E.\/B.Tech) carries a total 75 questions for 300 marks, while Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) carry 400 marks each. The JEE Main question papers include MCQs and numerical-value questions, with +4 marks for a correct answer, -1 mark for an incorrect answer, and no marks for unanswered questions. Paper 1 and Paper 2B are conducted in CBT mode, while Paper 2A includes CBT for the online sections and pen-and-paper mode for the drawing test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JEE Mains 2027 Examination Mode <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

JEE Main examination is organised by the NTA across the country. NTA conducts the JEE Main examination in online, Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for Paper 1 (B.E.\/B.Tech.) and Paper 2A (B.Arch & B.Planning), Mathematics and Aptitude. The Drawing Test is conducted offline on an A4-size drawing sheet. The exam is conducted in two shifts: Morning and Afternoon\/Evening at several exam centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
